Production Supervisor

Brownlee Lumber of Brookville, PA is seeking a candidate to full a Production Supervisor role. Qualified candidates will assume responsibility for production management at a 10 million board foot / year hardwood sawmill and 6 million board foot/ year kiln drying facility. A minimum of five years’ of relevant management experience with a hardwood sawmill or a dry kiln facility is required. Duties involve hands-on oversight of sawmill, dry kilns, grading lines, shipping department, etc. Candidates must possess a strong work ethic and leadership ability along with ability to proactively manage manufacturing processes and outcomes. Sawmill Maintenance & Heavy Equipment Repair Mechanic

Brownlee Lumber of Brookville, PA is in need of experienced Maintenance and Repair Personnel to join our growing team. Position requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the areas of heavy equipment maintenance & repair, electrical systems & diagnostics, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, fleet maintenance, and welding & fabrication. Logging Contractors

This contracted position involves working with BLC foresters to harvest standing timber to the our specifications, and bringing the cut timber to the landing area, where it will be loaded onto BLC trucks for transport back to the mill. Machine Operators & Lumber Handlers

Team members in these positions are responsible for the physical activities required to manufacture hardwood lumber in a sawmill environment, including operation of sawmill handling equipment, sorting and stacking lumber according to length and grade markings, and packaging material for shipment to our customers.
